    Corporate History

    Utility Services of America is the first African American-owned Overhead and Underground Electric Distribution Line Clearance, Construction and Emergency Response Power Restoration Holding Company.   Founded in 1992 by Chairman KB Stallworth, the company has provided line electric line clearance, construction and consulting services to public utilities and municipalities from Michigan to Florida. Expanding from its Energy Clearance operating unit to Energy Construction, and the Energy Group, Utility Services of America today through its subsidiaries and partnerships also provides a full range of business consulting and equipment financing services domestically and in West Africa.
